The nasty taste in my mouth is due to the timing of this post - not the post itself. However - I know how hard restraint is when you find something crazy cool and feel the need to share!!! VW has always been sort of on the edge - I have an old photo of Hitler holding the clay model for the original and was told it was taken for an ad campaign...not a side of Hitler most choose to remember.

National Lampoon pulls no punches. This wasn't the first or last time a Kennedy was protected against his bad behavior. There are advantages to being rich and connected - no surprise there. The parody was a pretty rough use of the VW image, but I still hope they lost their suit. Everything can and should be laughed at.
